Helping Your Kids Ride Safe
About This Event
Our Annual Bike Rodeo will be held at Pence Elementary during the afterschool program. This event is tailored for children in 2nd-4th grades to teach them the proper way to ride a bicycle safely. They will learn the necessary skills and precautions for their age range to help them be better riders.
At this time, the Bike Rodeo is only open to the students enrolled in the afterschool program at Pence Elementary. In the future, we hope to offer a community-based Bike Rodeo that is open to all area youth.
What is a Bike Rodeo?
Bike Rodeo is a hands-on event that leads children through a series of skill-building workshops. As a culmination of the event, children ride their bicycles through an obstacle course, putting into practice their newly acquired knowledge.
How much does it cost?
The Bike Rodeo is being offered at no cost to the students in the afterschool program, thanks to generous sponsors through the Fairfield Area Chamber of Commerce.
